Finding the right counsellor is important.

Let’s see if we are a good fit.

Who I Work With

Many of the people who find their way to my office are navigating complicated situations, or arrive feeling unsure whether therapy will really help.

They are often thoughtful, capable people carrying a great deal of responsibility while quietly struggling themselves.

High-Responsibility Professionals

Many of my clients work in demanding environments where composure and performance are expected, even under intense pressure.

This includes first responders, former military members, teachers, healthcare professionals, and other frontline workers. People in these roles are often used to being the strong one for others, but may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted beneath the surface.

Therapy can provide a space where you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Individuals Facing Serious Emotional Struggles

I have extensive experience working with individuals dealing with suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or deep feelings of hopelessness.

These experiences can feel isolating and difficult to talk about. Therapy offers a space where these realities can be discussed openly, with compassion, honesty, and a clear focus on safety and healing.

Adolescents and Families

I work with at-risk teens and adolescents (12+), including youth navigating family disruption, grief, identity questions, and challenges related to self-worth.

Some teens may be struggling with emotional distress or risk-taking behaviour. I also work with parents and caregivers, helping them understand and support their teens when the path forward feels uncertain.

Relationships, Intimacy, and Sexuality

I work with individuals and couples navigating challenges related to intimacy and sexual connection.

This may include concerns about differences in sexual desire, diminished interest in sex, questions about sexual identity, or problematic pornography use. Therapy provides a supportive space to explore these issues and build healthier, more connected relationships.

People Involved in the Legal System

I also have experience working with people who are involved in the legal system.

This work is approached without judgment and with a focus on accountability, insight, and meaningful change.

A Note on Fit

If you see yourself in any of these descriptions, therapy can be a place to slow down, sort through what’s happening, and decide how you want to move forward.

Finding the right therapist matters. If you’re unsure whether we might be a good fit, you’re welcome to book a consultation so we can talk about what you’re looking for and whether this work feels right for you.
