Hi, I’m Megan.

Hi, I’m Megan Oviatt. I’m a Registered Psychologist in Calgary, Alberta. On a personal note, I’m a mom of four teenagers, former teacher, avid snowboarder, cookie-baker, and lifelong lover of 90s pop-punk.

I’m also the owner of Quest Psychological.

I grew up in Edmonton and come from a gigantic, complex family. These days I live and work in Calgary with a family of my own. I love anything that takes me into the mountains. I’m deeply organized… and also always lose my phone.

I love being a psychologist because I get to walk with people through the hardest chapters of their lives, not around them. Many of the people who find their way to my office are capable, thoughtful people navigating complicated situations, the kind that don’t have easy answers. If you’re overwhelmed, stuck, or questioning what comes next, my goal is to help you find clarity and peace on your own terms.

I don’t do scripted therapy. Our work together is collaborative, grounded, and focused on what matters most to you. My role is to guide and challenge you. Your role is to show up with honesty and curiosity.

Many of the people I work with are used to being the ones others rely on, steady, capable, and responsible, even when things feel heavy underneath.

I’ve also walked through some of life’s harder chapters myself, including parenthood, divorce, and the loss of my dad. I know what it feels like when life suddenly becomes uncertain or overwhelming. I also know what it takes to slowly rebuild, find clarity again, and move forward with intention.

My approach combines compassion, practical strategies, and deep self-understanding. It’s about helping you make sense of what’s happening, navigate difficult moments, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

If this resonates with you, we can start with a conversation about what support might look like.
